Down To None

Jonathan Ingram - Vocals/Guitar

Originally formed in late 2001,  Down to None has since brought to the Atlanta area an uncompromised hard rock sound with a very direct and in-your-face presentation.  The song structure and versitile musical styles of Down to None has brought a very broad fan base in the local Atlanta area.  By relentless performance, Down to None is definitely a band that is ready to advance to the next level.

The music of Down to None is influenced from a variety of musical factors.  Each member brings a unique background, yet they seem to find a common ground somewhere within.  From that is what makes the music of Down to None.  Best defined as Alternative/Hard Rock, each song has characteristics all its own.  From the melodic, haunting sounds of a song such as Wake Me, to the no nonsense, straight-at-you sounds of Kneel , every song delivers a powerful message with music that tells the story just as well as the lyrics.  Influentially, Down to None draws similarities of Alice in Chains, Sevendust, and Godsmack with a modern twist and enthusiasm.

The band's current lineup has modified from the original.  Currently, vocalist and founding member Jonathan Ingram is the only representative remaining from the original cast.  After an extended hiatus from performance in early 2003, The original band dissolved due to personal reasons and musical differences.  Resurrected in late 2003,  The group was reborn with Jonathan and original bassist Shane Atkins moved to guitar.  Also in the renewed venture came bassist Lee Jackson, and drummer John Crapps.  John joined the band after vigorous auditions of aver a dozen drummers.  John played most recently with Atlanta area heavy metal group Ground:Xero.  Shane later left the band and was recently replaced with newest member Aaron Thacker.  Aaron was a longtime friend of the band after his previous venture, hard rock group Oblivion, and DTN's original cast shared the bill for a couple of shows.  With the current line solidified, the live performance and maturity of the sound has bounded far beyond any of the band's expectations.

Down to None is definitely a band to watch for in the very near future.  With a new roster firmly in place, it is now time for this group to explode onto the scene, not likely to fade anytime soon.
